I lived in Uganda from when I was born until 2014, during that time I was lucky enough to have moved to every corner of the country thanks to my love for nature and adventure. But during that time, I had never come across a single bird that looked like this one. I know this is not surprising at all considering that Uganda is one of the countries with the most concentration of bird species in the world with more than 1000 bird species. In March 2018, we travel from London to celebrate join our family back in Norther Uganda for the Easter celebration. During our two days travel up north from Kampala, we stopped at a place near Kabalega Dinner along Kampala-Gulu highway and that was when we came across this bird, It was nothing like I had ever seen before and I have never seen the same species ever since.
