Additionally, it boasts a wide selection of fresh fish from the Amazonian rivers, including tambaqui, pirarucu, and filhote, as well as seafood.Visitors can also find artisanal flours, vegetable oils like andiroba and copaíba oil, along with peppers, nuts, and regional honey. Not to mention the famous Amazonian seasonings and herbs, used both in cooking and traditional medicine.
Foursaddle Grouper Epinephelus spilotoceps occurs in the tropical Indo-West-Pacific from East coast of Africa to the Line Islands. Except for its occurrence along the African coast (Zanzibar, Tanzania to Ponta Zavora, Mozambique) it seems to be primarily an insular species, occurring at most (probably all) of the islands of tropical Indian and west-central Pacific in a depth range from 0 to 30m, max. length 47cm. \n\nUsually species have a more ore less specific behaviour. Groupers are shy and have a long escape distance. This specimen was unusually curious and followed the photographer attentively for quite a while.\n\nTriton Bay, Indonesia \n3°54'2.346 S 134°6'32.099 E at 12m depth

Helmut Gurnard or Oriental Flying Gurnard Dactyloptena orientalis occurs in the tropical Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea and East Africa to the Hawaiian, Marquesan and Tuamoto Islands, north to southern Japan and the Ogasawara Islands, south to Australia and northern New Zealand in a depth range from 1 to 100m, max. length 40cm, common length 20cm. \nThe Flying Gurnard uses its pelvic fins to walk along the bottom of the ocean. \nThe solitary, well-camouflaged and usually slow-moving species inhabits coastal waters with sandy substrates and feeds on crustaceans, clams and small fish. \nThe pectoral fins are normally held against the body, but when threatened the fins are expanded to startle potential predators which may include sea breams and mackerel. A diver with huge camera system looks like a potential predator, reason enough to go on defense. \nLembeh Strait, Indonesia \n1°30'15.006 N 125°14'30.792 E at 5m depth
