Jumping spider, wall spider or flycatcher is the most numerous family of spiders, with more than 500 genera and about 5,000 species (about 13% of known species of spiders)[1], popularly known as spiders -hopper spiders or flycatchers, with an almost worldwide distribution. These spiders do not make webs to hunt, but lie in wait, quickly jumping on prey. After hunting, they imprison the prey in a specific and very resistant web. They can also jump to move around or to escape predators. They have a more resistant web and are the fastest and most agile type of spiders in the arachnid kingdom. Having much better resistance than other arachnids, it is a very resistant type of spider. Jumping spiders or flycatcher spiders have a more powerful venom than other spiders (depending on the species).

Spiders are unsung heroes of sustainability, playing a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. By naturally controlling insect populations, they reduce the need for chemical pesticides, supporting healthier ecosystems and agriculture. Their silk and hunting strategies also inspire innovations in sustainable technologies. Protecting spider habitats ensures a balanced and thriving environment for all.\nLocation: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (India)
